Which is the excursion included?
  • Excursion in Venice (MSC Armonia, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Musica and MSC Fantasia guests):
    90 minutes walk tour into the heart of Venice (no entrances). After about 25 minutes of panoramic boat transfer along the Giudecca Canal, guests will start their walk around San Marco, the Venice’s most famous square. With some hints to the history of Venice, , they will admire the Marciana Library and the Loggetta del Sansovino, the imposing bell tower of San Marco, the Clock Tower with its bronze Moors, the two wings that embrace the square as well as the San Marco’s Basilica in its magnificence. Next to it, they will see the Doge's Palace, one of the architectural masterpieces of the Venetians. Next to the Palace, they will find the renowned Ponte Dei Sospiri (“Bridge of Sighs”). The guide will lead them through the famous Venetian streets to the Grand Canal with a splendid view of the Rialto Bridge. Guests will then enjoy free time.

    Good to know: MSC Cruises is pleased to offer a free “Chorus Pass” to all MSC Stay and Cruises guests to allow them to visit a selection of churches in Venice, while supporting the restoration and maintenance of these masterpieces.
     
  • Excursion in Athens (MSC Lirica guests):
    The tour will allow you to visit the Acropolis, and Plaka District, and will provide a city orientation. On leaving the hotel, guests will commence their city orientation which will take them to some of the city’s most important sites, such as the Constitution Square, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Temple of Zeus, the Royal Palace, and the old Marble Olympic stadium ending at the awesome Acropolis site on which is the Parthenon, the symbol of classical architecture. After visiting this remarkable site they will proceed to the famous and historic Plaka district to explore its predominately pedestrian streets with picturesque houses, shops, and cafes. Their walking tour in this famous neighborhood will include also a taste of a delicious Greek souvlaki wrap. Group transport, guiding, and entrance fees are included.
     
  • Excursion in Miami (MSC Divina, MSC Seascape and MSC Seashore guests):
    Guests will start their memorable tour of Miami's top attractions with the double-decker bus. They can take a seat inside the air-conditioned lower level if they want to stay cool, or head to the open-top upper deck to enjoy unobstructed views of the Miami's renowned collection of art deco architecture, the largest in the world.
    They will peer out at beautiful Miami Beach as they learn from our guide how art and music drive the city's dynamic culture.
     
  • Excursion in New York (MSC Meraviglia guests):
    5 hours tour of Manhattan that gives a comprehensive view of the different neighborhoods and landmarks in Manhattan, discovering the Big Apple with the help of our professional tour guide. Among the landmarks that guests might be able to see are Lincoln Center, the legendary Central Park, the Trump Tower, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, the Flatiron Building, the Bull of Wall Street. The tour will also drive through Greenwich Village, Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown, the Financial District, Battery Park, when traffic conditions permit. Guests will have the opportunity to cross the East River to end the tour at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. 
     
  • Excursion in Orlando (MSC Meraviglia and MSC Seaside guests):
    On day 2 guests will have the opportunity to visit one of the Disney Parks choosing among the entrance for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Epcot and, obviously, the MAGIC KINGDOM PARK. We will give the ticket to the guests and they will have to book the access to the chosen park (subject to availability) on the Disney website.
    They will explore lands of endless enchantment, where fantasy becomes  reality at Magic Kingdom® Park or travel around the globe, under the sea, into outer space and beyond at epcot®.  They can celebrate 30 years of epic excitement at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® or behold the magic of nature with rare animals and world-class entertainment at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
    On day 3 after the breakfast in the Hotel there will be a group transfer to Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal for the embarkation; on the road to Port Canaveral, guests will have the chance to visit the Kennedy Space Center.
     
  • Excursion in Cairo (MSC Splendida guests):
    On day 2 after breakfast, guests will meet an Egyptologist Guide at the lobby of their hotel. They will visit the complex of Saqqara , home of the famous step pyramid. They will see the Unaas Pyramid and some of the burial Mastabas before heading to the open air museum of Memphis the ancient capital of Egypt. After a lunch at the local restaurant, in the afternoon guests will have the chance to visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx about ten miles southwest of Cairo city center. This experience will be something perhaps few travelers ever decide to do. According to previous visions and experiences, the red granite blocks in the King's Chamber , have been the most profound and prophetic in some people’s lives. Later, guests will come back to the hotel for their free evening and the overnight in Cairo.
    On day 03 there will be a morning half day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. After breakfast and checkout, guests will meet their guide at the lobby to start a short drive to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities As the doors open, the Egyptologist will start his/her explanation about the power of every single piece in the surrounding. After lunch at local restaurant, guests will have their transfer to Ain Sokhna sea port to embark for their cruise.
