SOPHIA LOREN


Italian screen legend Sophia Loren was born in Rome and grew up in Naples. She began working at a young age as a character in photo-romance magazines and fought hard to win her first small roles in films. From there her talent and beauty made her an Italian and international icon, known and admired ali over the world. Considered the most popular Italian actress of ali time, she has won numerous awards, including an Oscar for her role in La Ciociara (Two Women). Loren is godmother to the entire MSC Cruises fleet.

ZUCCHERO


Among the major performers of rock blues music in Italy, Zucchero (born Adelmo Fornaciari) during his career sold over 60 million of albums, 8 million of which only with the album “Oro, incenso e birra”. His music spread beyond borders also thanks to the vary collaborations with international artists like Bryan Adams, The Blues Brothers, Bono, Jeff Beck, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Elvis Costello, Miles Davis, Peter Gabriel, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Mark Knopfler, Brian May, Luciano Pavarotti, Iggy Pop, Alejandro Sanz, Sting and many others.

MICHELLE HUNZIKER


Vibrant and self-deprecating Michelle Hunziker is an all-around entertainer with a wicked sense of humour. Born in Switzerland to a Dutch mother and a Swiss-German father, she moved to Italy in 1993, embarking three years later on a hugely successful TV career. Highlights include co-presenting the Italian shows Striscia la Notizia, Zelig and Paperissima as well as several editions of the Sanremo Music Festival, alongside acting roles in various comedies and sit-coms. She has worked extensively in theatre and cinema, while also pursuing a parallel career on German TV. She lives in Milan, and is the mother of three wonderful girls.

LORELLA CUCCARINI


Lorella Cuccarini is a dancer, singer, actress and television presenter. She first appeared on TV at the age of 20 as a dancer on the show “Fantastico”. A few years later she was asked to host “Paperissima”, which was followed by the first live entertainment show on Italy’s Canale 5, “Buona Domenica”, among others. She has appeared at the “Sanremo Music Festival” both as a host and as a singer, while her theatrical debut came in the ‘90s with “Grease”, which ran for three years. She is an ambassador for the Italian charity “Trenta ore per la vita”. In 1992 she married the music producer Silvio Testi, with whom she has four children.

PICCOLO CORO DELL’ ANTONIANO


The Piccolo Coro “Mariele Ventre” dell’Antoniano, to give it its full name, is conducted by SABRINA SIMONI and is one of the best known children’s choirs in the world, with a huge following on YouTube. Founded over 50 years ago, the choir has performed in all 58 editions of Italian TV’s popular “Zecchino d’Oro” music contest, as well as in countless events alongside prestigious Italian artists and stars of international music ranging from Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli to Richard Attenborough and Peter Ustinov. The choir originally comprised just five members, all from Bologna in Italy, but nowadays numbers 56, including children of numerous different nationalities.

ROBERTA DI MARIO


Roberta Di Mario is an Italian pianist and composer. Emotional, elegant and passionate, she has always lived for music. She started performing concerts at a very young age, winning national and international contests. She studied pianoforte at the Parma Conservatory, where she graduated first in her class. As well as performing live in Italy and overseas, including a series of concerts in New York City in 2016, she has recorded several albums. Roberta loves to experiment, her simultaneously sweet and aggressive sound moving freely between theatre, musical, jazz, swing, pop, contemporary, ambient and soundtrack music.
